Nationalism and the Creation of Italy

The term nationalism is being a big social movement. It is also about someone being loyal to their nation of people who shares common cultures and their history. The United States is a nationalist country because many people have pride for their country and share a common language. What makes me a nationalist is that I am an American and I like my country and I am happy to be free. Between 1815 and 1848, Italy was being ruled by Austria. Italians counldn't take it any more and decided not to take it anymore and a nationalist group was formed to fight for their freedom.

Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revoflutions

Simon Bolivar was an important leader who fought for South America's successful struggle for independence from Spain. He is known for being responsible of the independence of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Panama and Bolivia. He is known as a hero in these countries and is sometimes described as George Washington of South America. There are many statues of Simon Bolivar in many places of these countries and they named the country Bolivia after him.
